FM Medical Primary and Urgent Care

I went in recently for a sinus infection. I was treated by the PA - I called twice before my script ran out for a refill or direction on what to do. 12 days later no phone call back for any after care AND on day 10 the PA refilled my script. The one I didn’t ask for. Thank goodness I went elsewhere and saw another doctor who does return phone calls. FM Urgent Care -if you aren’t going to respond to messages left by patients for after care or questions. Do waste someone’s time and have them leave you a message! Do better…..

They seemed to be a little short on staff, so it wasn’t possible at all to call ahead to confirm anything or set an appointment, but once I got there, all the staff was friendly and polite. Service was quick despite it being a walk in.

Got an incorrect prescription. Called the office and was told they would check with my provider and call me back. Five days later, I gave up and went in. After waiting nearly 1/2 hour, they said that I'd need to make yet ANOTHER appointment to get a correction.!! After 6 years of making excuses for this lame, lame office, not only am I not doing that, I'm getting a new doctor.

I had an uncomfortable experience at this urgent care on July 29. I was there for an asthma attack and instead of being taken in quietly, the doctor — Scott Michaels — came into the waiting room and publicly asked who was having the asthma attack, in front of other patients. I appreciate that he wanted to check on me, but it felt inappropriate and lacking in privacy. Later, while in the exam room with my 11-month-old baby who had just fallen asleep, I asked if we could speak quietly. Instead, Dr. Michaels went on an unsolicited rant about how breastfeeding after a baby gets teeth is “selfish” and “just for the mother.” Not only is this factually wrong and directly contradicts guidance from the AAP and WHO, it was inappropriate, shaming, and completely irrelevant to my visit. I was vacationing with family and needed treatment for sinus infection. I waited about half hour before being seen by the wonderful and welcoming Mike Medved, PA. Very professional and the treatment prescribed was spot on and I felt better later that same day! Cheyenne at the front desk was very welcoming. Highly recommend this clinic!
