Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health - Urgent Care

Not my favorite place to go but when your Dr is out of the office it works to get treated for a virus. I already feel better! The staff was attentive and very professional. I watched Google maps to go at a time when they were not to busy which sped up my wait time which when you don't feel good is a plus

The experience inside the clinic was pretty much 4 to 5 star but when told they had sent my daughters prescriptions to the pharmacy, I went straight to the pharmacy but there was no record of the prescriptions being received. So I called the clinic and they said oh no, put me on hold for a minute and then said we're resending them right now. OK cool, no problem, right? I waited around for about 5 minutes and when they didn't come through, I said I would just come back in a couple hours. After 4 hours, I still had no notification that the script was ready so I called the pharmacy and they had still not been received. so I called the urgent care again, was auto clicked over to the main number from which I was transferred by an agent back to the local clinic where the phone rang out until I g

The doctor comes in like he is in a marathon runner. Tells me when it started, as he jams ear scope in the infected ear like it’s a casual check up. Then says “oh yeah it’s pretty bad” while jamming it in more and tells me yeah it’s infected. The pain in my ear felt worst after he got done. he says “ let me get that prescription put in and hope you feel better” and immediately leaves. I stay there thinking I’d get a paper or something to get the prescription but nothing. while almost crying from the pain he made worse, I waited 10-15 minutes after, for him to tell me that I could’ve left a while ago to get my medication I said he didn’t tell me I was cleared so that’s why I waited so long. Arrived at 5 with daughter who fell in severe pain. Explained over and again she could not ambulate nor stand. They gave us the run around for hours, staff was cold and seemed to be bothered we were there. We waited for hours to finally get back and they tell us they cannot xray her bc she cannot stand. They knew the whole time she could not stand and told us when they were about to close and after sitting there for almost 3 hours. Said to just go to ER! Completely unprofessional.

I Went to Florida Medical urgent care clinic today as I haven't been feeling well. The staff at the desk were very friendly and quick to register in. Although there was a handful of other people there, the wait time to go back in a room was pretty quick. I saw Melissa Smith ARNP . She is wonderful, very knowledgeable and very caring. She answered all my questions and provide an excellent treatment plan for me so I'll get feeling better. This has been my go to urgent care clinic for the past year. I highly recommend going to Florida Medica Urgent carel Clinic . You're in good hands.
