Dr. Calain is NEVER on time, ever and it is only seeming to get getting worse. Here I am, 10 minutes early for my 2:45 appointment. Stephanie, at the front desk, who took my payment was too busy talking to check me in all the way. She was talking to a cold calling medical insurance sales lady complaining that she was not happy with her current Blue Cross/ Blue Shield. Totally unprofessional, complaining about your employer in front of patients. It is now almost 4:00 over an hour behind and I have been sitting in this lobby missing a very important work meeting. Do yourself a favor and find an office where the reception will not give you stinky eye stares, rude and loud talks. At the same time they were super friendly and chit-chatty with other patients. I am hoping this was because I was a new patient, and nothing else.

Front staff is terribly rude. After calling to become a new patient I was asked to come in to fill out new patient paperwork prior to getting an appointment. I arrived today to complete said paperwork. Was told I need to complete outside of the office. I initially thought I misheard that last part as that made no sense to me. However when I sat down the receptionist told me again that I have to leave. She said it was due to keeping lobby open to scheduled appointments. I can understand that however the lobby was fairly empty with only two other people there and a dozen open chairs. I would be there for 5, 10 minutes max. Dr Di left and this place has gone straight down hill. My husband could barely breath. Needed a chest Xray. They listened to his chest and sent him on his way with amoxiclav. 4 days later we are back at the ER. They didn't test him for Flu, Covid, RSV. NOTHING!! I do not recommend this office.

If I could give a -1, I would. The unethical practices and unprofessionalism throughout all levels of staff is disturbing. I was unknowingly "released" as a patient as a result of a phone conversation with Dr. Calain’s asst/nurse where I was contesting a prior authorization policy. There was no yelling, profanity, or even raised voice. It was a tense conversation where I disagreed, but the conclusion was that the prior authorization would be called in (it never was, nor was I notified it wasn't). I had to call in after my portal was disabled for someone to tell me I was no longer a patient. After being bounced around without an explanation, I had to ask what the cause was and the office manager stated it was for my "behavior".
