Fixt Movement

Geoff is amazing. He is such a good therapist. He is strong, smart with his hands, understands my tweaks and is an invaluable partner in my training. Can't say enough good things about him.

Fixt Movement's Recovery Lab is fantastic. I never knew that this service existed or that I needed it until I spent some time there working on some chronic injuries. They have the latest technologies available to help you heal from and prevent injuries. The onsite therapists will guide you through the use of new techniques. You will also be able to get a consultation to identify the techniques that are best for your healing process, along with massage when needed. I particularly enjoyed the sauna, which unlike other saunas, has options that range from Weight Loss, to deep tissue healing, and the ultimate heat experience (sweat lodge style). The best part is, you can go in when you have time, no appointment necessary, and use the tools as needed.

Normally I see Darcie (who is smart, extremely capable + effective) , but in a pinch + to address some back issues I booked a session w Dawn. I am a physical therapist and I understand anatomy + physiology. I'm a bit of a tough sell when it comes to an effective + therapeutic massage. Dawn delivered. Her background and approach makes her extremely competent at assessing the integrity and the function of the muscles she is treating. Her test/re-test approach to treatment aligns perfectly w my treatment philosophy. I will absolutely return to Dawn (Darcie too of course).

The telltale sign of a recovery place is do you leave feeling better than when you walked in. The answer for Fixt Movement is unequivocally, yes! Geoff addressed my specific needs and answered questions I had about a puzzling hip issue, simplifying it and finding solutions for me to continue on my own. After leaving Fixt, I had range of motion back I hadn’t had in months!

Great place - Geoff has helped keep me injury free through my last two ultra marathons. He is professional and engaging and I would (and do) recommend his services to anyone.
