From the very first phone call to scheduling, to the thorough testing and being fitted with my new hearing aids, everything was seamless. The entire team was welcoming, energetic, and created such a positive atmosphere. I truly felt cared for every step of the way. I went to First Coast after another provider had told me that I had no hearing in one ear, and that a hearing aid (or hearing aids) would not be of any use to me. Dr. Paxton La Forge did a number of tests and concluded that based on her tests that earlier consult had the wrong outcome and calmly and convincingly explained that I would be a good candidate for 2 hearing aids. I admit I was a still bit skeptical. After those tests were done I ordered the 2 hearing aids she recommended and had a one time fitting. The hearing aids work great, and I can hear very well now in both ears. My overall hearing is better than what I have had in many years. It’s something amazingly different and was an immediate huge improvement. I should have gone to First Coast much earlier and can recommend them and
