First Choice Immediate Care McCreary

I went for a simple blood pressure medicine refill today and it was made very difficult. Daphne was very rude and made me feel like I was being punished for asking for more medication. She wanted me to reschedule more appointments and was just not a very pleasant person. My experience at first choice was very unpleasant and I will definitely not be returning. I recommend going somewhere else. That’s what I’m doing. It’s no wonder why the parking lot is always empty. Everyone is going to another office. I don’t blame them

Overall a decent PCP or urgent care. Pros: Clean office/waiting area Friendly staff Caring Cons: Can get crowded and slow Limited on services

Everyone here is great except for whoever drew my blood. I think her name was Nina maybe? She was VERY old she couldn’t hear me when I was talking to her she had to draw my blood and didn’t tourniquet my arm or alcohol wipe it and then she said she had to “transfer the blood to the hospital.” Tell me why it’s been a week and I never heard anything back.

I have been going to First Choice McCreary since it has opened. Jennifer West is both my PCP and my daughter’s PCP. Occasionally, we have to see other providers but we have never had a bad experience with any provider there. We have had nothing but great experiences anytime we have visited this office. It’s very clean, all of the staff is very friendly, we never have to wait long. My concerns are always taken seriously and are always taken care of.

Very kind staff, BUT I took my son to be seen, ended up being swabbed for RSV and covid. (The boy doing the swabs stuck the covid and RSV swab together and swabbed my son with both at the same time.) Was told he had covid. Took an ER trip the VERY NEXT DAY because his breathing rapidly got worse. Little did I know, he actually did NOT have covid at all, he had RSV. Was kind of upset that my son was diagnosed incorrectly.
