They need more knowledge and continuing education to take care of any patients with dementia. My father was moved 4 times in 6 months in this home. It sure didn’t help his dementia. We never saw the activities director to try to give him activities to help his adjustment or even for distraction. Administration never walked the halls or introduced themselves. Administration kept themselves locked in their offices. DON need to be more hands on and involved.

My mother entered this facility in the rehab section in 2023 and transitioned into long term care for about 6 months before leaving to spend her final days in hospice care in early 2024. This facility was clean and provided adequate care. We did have some issues with assorted things, but when I contacted the facility with my grievances, they were corrected. If your family member is there, you must be proactive in this way. I would like to thank Jessica in transportation for being particularly kind- her empathy is palpable and she is a beautiful soul. I would also like to thank the lady in housekeeping (I did not learn her name) who sang Happy Birthday to my mother in Spanish- she was very touched by this small, but sweet gesture. My grandmother was at Fianna Rehab and the facility is very clean and ALL of the staff is AMAZING. My grandmother was treated with respect and love by everyone. The staff is very helpful and loving. She was well fed and entertained. It does not have the appearance of a Nursing Home. They treat everyone like family. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone!!

I have never seen a team that cared about the residents like they were there own. Fianna Hills Nursing And Rehab is the best nursing home in the state. It is not easy putting a loved one in a nursing home but this place makes my life and my loved ones life a little bit easier. Things happen in long term care that are uncontrollable but thats just long term care. This team with do what ever it takes to make any situation right. I would recommend this nursing home to any family.

My mother lived here for 5 years. If I could give zero stars i would! I was there almost everyday and if I couldn't help my mom everyday she would of died sooner. The care is so horrible and place is old and so dirty. Needed to do a lot of care which was fine till Covid... I could only do window visits and I could see her slowly deteriorate, she was not showered most times and begging for me to talk to them. She was put in covid unit quarantine with a false positive test, she was put with other residents in same room! She had no symptoms when all others did she was moved back to her room . She later got covid and was tested at hospital and doctor said that it was first time... she was put with 2 other residents who did have it. Sadly she did not recover.
