Plan on it taking at least a week to get a prescription called in, even with good communication and persistence from your end. Five stars for the staff, they are doing the best they can. Nicole (nurse) has been especially helpful, kind, professional and understanding, and has really gone above and beyond in every way. The issue is they are criminally understaffed. This is a serious problem that Denver Health needs to address. Clearly Denver Health is not offering the necessary pay or incentives to adequately staff this location with competent, qualified staff. In other words, they’re being cheap and patient care is suffering as a result. It sounds like they’ve been understaffed for a while. I knew from my visit that I found myself a primary care physician. That was 7 years ago. DR Wongward is a true dedicated physician. No doubt I love Dr Wongward more today than 7 years ago, but trusted her from the moment she said hello. She's Awesome.

Don't make any plans, don't have any rides set up, and don't plan to be seen at your appointment time. But then they have issues if you're 10 minutes late, but call you back almost an hour later. My son's appointment was at 10:10. We got there way 5 min early, and he was not seen until 11:05, and was never told they were running behind. No one knew what was going on.

They make you get 20min before your appointment to make you wait over an hour to be seen by a doctor. All that for the staff to rush you out.

Wow. Never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but that was the best mammogram experience I’ve ever had. Alex was great at check-in. Polite and quick, yet thorough. And Tiffany was absolutely amazing during the mammogram procedure. She made me laugh and forget that I was in an uncomfortable situation. They were a great team at the Denver Health Women’s Mobile Clinic in the Federico Peña parking lot.
