Feather River Veterinary Hospital

Just finished an appointment at Feather River Vet. My dog is an old, feisty, 88lb Pitbull who is scared of his own shadow. This team is so good with him, helpful, professional and an overall great experience. Dr Tucker and his staff are awesome! Highly recommend!

Great service. Great staff and Great Vets. They care for your pets and help you make informed decisions. Taking time to explain all options. I wish our pediatrician was this good... maybe Dr. Tucker will start seeing my kids 🤔

My first impression of the veterinary hospital was one of professionalism. Not only was I treated with respect and courtesy, but staff reassured me if I needed anything, to just let them know, they asked if I had any questions (several times), they told me what procedures were to be done, and filled me in with "what was normal," they were both gentle and firm with my dog, ensuring a pleasant and safe experience. The costs were fair, more expensive than clinics, obviously, but I also had a thorough exam done for my dog, and other tests done, eg. worms. Handicapped parking is available and doors seem wide enough for handicapped pet owners. I will continue to use this veterinary hospital, from what I saw, today.

I moved to the area recently and had to change the Vet who cared for our dogs. I researched various Vets and decided to visit Feather River Veterinary in Marysville. At the time, I was told that Dr. Tucker was on leave due to knee surgery. I saw an older gentleman who took a lot of time and taught me a lot. Good visit! The next time I went back, we saw Dr. Tucker. I liked him immediately! He explained everything perfectly. Sadly enough, the next time we had to visit Dr. Tucker, my dog was not acting the same way. He examined her thoroughly and felt a large mass underneath her belly near her heart. He spent a lot of time going over her and, in the end, advised us to get an MRI done on her chest immediately. He didn't offer such a service since it's a specialty test, so he referred us to Loo

Far too expensive especially for such a low income area no wonder there are so many stray and abandoned animals in this area nobody in the low income bracket can possibly afford to have their dogs spayed or neutered when it costs roughly between $450.00-$600.00 that's just outrageous I remember 15 years ago it was affordable maybe $60-$100 and there were still dogs running wild biting people and attacking small animals and children.with prices at this level that they are now I'm surprised emergency services aren't busy with a dog attack every couple hours. With the amount of low income families that are dog owners it is sure to come to that again I am already seeing a rise in the stray cat population and there have been quite a few dogs being euthanized regularly at the local dog pound it'
