FastMed Urgent Care

I was very pleased with my recent visit to FastMed Urgent Care. My previous experience was less than satisfactory. However, I can say that I found the front desk staff, courteous, welcoming, and very efficient through the check-in process. The doctor quickly resolved the issue that I came in for and sent the needed prescription off to the pharmacy of my choosing. I am satisfied and would definitely use their services again.

The check in staff was very knowledgeable and nice. I was seen quickly and the nurse/attendant was very thorough and pleasant. Dr Dane was knowledgeable and laid back. I will continue to use this location.

First the good: Dr. Van was great! When I FINALLY got to see him, he quickly diagnosed me and prescribed me the meds I needed and got me on my way. Now the bad: I woke up with a terrible earache and made an appointment at 4:30 online for 8:20 am which was the first available slot. I arrived at 8:14 and was second in line with one person already sitting in the lobby. While there were two receptionists sitting up front, neither one was attending to either of us waiting in line. It sounded like they were discussing insurance or billing issues. I heard one of them say to herself as she stared at her screen, “well that’s stupid! I arrived at FastMed Urgent Care in Leland around 6 p.m. on a Wednesday and received the most incredible care I could have asked for! From start to finish, the entire team was phenomenal. The front desk staff greeted me with genuine kindness and professionalism, setting the tone for a great experience. Nicki, the incomparable medical assistant, treated me with such compassion and attentiveness—she took her time to ensure I was comfortable and cared for, even as other patients were coming in. Rebecca, the Manager, and Dr. Bhavik were equally amazing and so attentive! Despite a busy waiting room, they went above and beyond to make sure I was feeling better. The BEST experience at an urgent care facility EVER! Being that it was the day after Christmas, I expected to wait for a very long time. I made an appointment for 8:55 am. I arrived about 10 minutes early, and I was out by 9:10 am. I realize that this is probably not the norm, but was thankful it was today! The staff and doctor were all friendly and professional. Thank you for a great experience, when I was not feeling my best!
