FastMed Urgent Care

My experience was great. This is the 4th time in 3 years , I been to FastMed in Clayton . All my visits have been good. I made an online appointment. I did not have to wait. The staff was professional and friendly. Corey Grindo, NP, was very thorough. He explained things well and took allot of time answering my questions.

I work in the medical field as a director and understand the long wait time and also the dynamics of working in a medical facility. I came here and checked in and waited a little bit in the waiting room. I was finally pulled back and went through the triage part. Was left in the room for over an hour with no update on time, no update regarding them running behind schedule or anything. As a patient and seeing it on both sides, I would appreciate a courtesy message that the provider I am seeing is running behind and will be in shortly versus being left alone feeling forgotten. It felt like it was 90 degrees in the room and even after I went to double check to see if I was forgotten and being told he would be in shortly, shortly happened to be another 45 minutes. My wife, Mary Kay, went to FastMed Urgent Care this morning and it was a fantastic experience for her from online appointment to check-in to check-out. Francine, the receptionist, checked Kay in and she was very friendly and efficient. Chyna, the nurse who took her vitals, was a joy to associate with and she was very professional throughout the check-up. Nicholas Oleson, the PA, was thorough, very knowledgeable, and proficient in his care for her. We could not be more thrilled with Kay's outcome and highly recommend this facility as an urgent care and/or family practice option for those seeking medical care in the Clayton, NC area. Kudos to all at FastMed Urgent Care. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Front desk was so pleasant and geniuinly compassionate. Nurse and Dr were wonderful and very pleasant! So happy they were open because my usual UC (affiliated with a lighter shade of blue….lol) were not today! I may go here from now on!!

It has been a long time since I've been to a urgent care and they seem human with a sense of humor. They staff were respectful, nice and each one from the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor had a great personality. Service was quick. I would definitely tell family and friends.
