FastMed Urgent Care

FastMed? More like SlowMed. I dont see the point of doing the check in online if we have to do it again once we get there. Waiting 2 hours before being seen its insane. On top of that X ray machine was not working properly so there was extra wait time. If you are going to have your patients waiting longer than an hour invest in more comfortable chairs and better equipment.

SAVE YOURSELF!!! REPORTING TO ATTORNEY GENERAL!! Our family had an extremely concerning experience today at FastMed. My sister was denied care because she does not have insurance, yet she was not given the opportunity to self-pay during her initial visit. She was not even allowed to complete patient registration paperwork. This lack of access to basic intake procedures is unacceptable. When concerns were raised, it was suggested that discrimination could not be a factor because members of the staff are people of color. However, it is important to recognize that bias and microaggressions can exist across all communities, including among individuals of different ethnic backgrounds. There was a slightly longer wait than normal however the csa up front were extremely nice and up front about the longer wait times today and were super helpful despite being packed today. They are extremely understanding and accommodating to my service dog in training no one even looked twice at him which I greatly appreciated. In all it was a good experience as always

I’ve been seen several times at this location and always receive excellent care. Dr. Tomczyk remembered me from previous visits and takes the time to ensure I have the best treatment plan. He also treated my goddaughter after she had been to the doctor three times in one week without improvement. After seeing Dr. Tomczyk and receiving the medication he prescribed, she was feeling much better the very next day.

I haven’t been to FastMed in probably 10-15 yrs, however I would definitely say The front office staff was very kind and helpful. I saw Thomas Juopperi, PA for my most recent visit and I have never had an urgent care provider be so thorough, and take the amount of time he did to make sure No question went unanswered or misunderstood. He was very honest and open with me and I felt very comfortable explaining my concerns to him. The only negative thing was the wait time once I got back to a room, however I do know that it is Flu season.
