Family Urgent Care and Industrial Medical Clinic

Went in as a walk in for a TB test and they took me in quick, staff was nice and answered my questions promptly.

SCAM ALERT!! This place tried to overcharge me upwards of $200 when my co-pay is $35 for urgent care. It would've been more had they not given me the "break" for lowering the charge from a specialist visit ($70) even though I was there for the urgent care. If a specialist runs an urgent care facility, he can't charge a specialist office visit if someone is seeking urgent care. Secondly, it is not common practice to collect a portion of one's deductible (as they tried to do). How many others, who weren't insurance savvy, have fallen victim to this scam? It is unfortunate that this is Blue Shield's only urgent care facility in the AV. I have reported them to Blue Shield and as a result will be switching to another insurance provider. Called this number a few minutes ago and the woman answered the phone and did they don't do urgent care services only orthopedic. Google needs to correct this listing. It is misleading. She directed me to a different business

Since the time that I had arrived at the clinic,the staff was very helpful in the process of getting to know the details of my injuries. Setting up a treatment plan for my pain & therapy to help with my recovery from injuries. Services provided by the clinic have been great as of today. My wife got covid-19 she calls them. who ever she talk to gave her all kinds of run around. it's like they were discourging her not to come in. thank god for the base hospital. as soon as she call the base hospital she go imitated help with the proper meds to take care her condition
