Sometimes in life you don't know, even after you feel like you've researched and are ready. I had hip resurfacing surgery in December 2025 and have been frustrated with the lack of guidance from the medical community. Today I said, "Enough, this is my healing process and it is time for me to get back in charge." Dr. Henning was remarkable with his patience and thoughtfulness in helping me feel heard and creating a plan. I appreciated our open communication and that he noticed things that I was unaware of, like not standing strong on both feet. I didn't realize I was still babying my surgical leg.
