Family of Caring at Teaneck

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Samantha Salmon at Family of Caring in Teaneck. From the very beginning, she treated my mom not just like a patient, but truly like family. Her kindness, patience, and genuine compassion made such a difference during a time that can be overwhelming for both patients and loved ones. Samantha always went above and beyond to make sure my mom felt comfortable, respected, and cared for. She took the time to listen, showed so much warmth, and made us feel confident that my mom was in the best hands. My husband is rehabilitating patient in Family of Caring where personnel truly makes patients feel like they are surrounded by family. My husband got personalized attention, lots of encouragement with his PT and OT programs which was not an easy task. From day one, I was able to discuss discharge planning with Social Worker, Liz, and made feel confident regarding my husband’s plan of care. Thanks to Nursing and PT personnel, facility Manager for their dedication and caring. I would give them all 10 STARS if possible.

Well it took me 6 months to get here after my moms passing in June at Family of Caring. A lot of many thoughts!!!! First I want to thank the ones that are absolutely AMAZING there. Sam I have no words for her the most kindest women ever didn’t even work on my moms side of the rehab but got me through a lot. She’s a beautiful HUMAN BEING!!! Also may I add Glenn who danced with my mom and brought a smile to my mom my sister and myself another Amazing Human Being.The TWINS Amazing also kind caring. I don’t have words for these 4 Beautiful Souls that truly care about the people In this facility. Also Mike the nutritionist he was also kind. I think of these people often and am grateful for them being there. On the other hand which I am not going to get into you MUST be an advocate for whatever

I had the pleasure of meeting Jocelyn Miss Pearl both of them are AIDS and they are very nice they keep the rooms very clean there bedside manner is impeccable also Rosa who is a nurse Michelle Harrison she is really the best I can't forget Samantha in all the staff in physical therapy can't remember everybody's name so if I forgot anybody please don't be upset the whole facility is great the food is great I'm glad I had the pleasure of staying there. I would recommend anybody who has to go to a nursing home to pick family care of Teaneck

Rosa is a kind and engaging person. She goes the extra mile to comfort not just the patient, to whom she devotes herself professionally, but their family as well. Our mom never had a better care giver. At the time of passing she held our hands, consoled us and rendered her unselfish care in helping us understand where our mom had gone. She was meticulous in dispensing the prescribed meds and making certain our mom was genuinely comfortable. Her gregarious personality was always welcome by our mom and our family as well. Thank you for all you do and for finding the time to sing some of her favorite songs to her and most of all, for holding her hand and rendering comfort in our absence. You are a gift and though many may not realize it; it will always manifest itself and let everyone enjoy t
