Family of Caring at Montclair

It is important to note I am an RN working in the rehab/ LTC industry since 1993. The minute we were told my mother needed to go to a rehab, I knew exactly where to send her:) The rehab and nursing staff exceeded my expectations! My mom required two people to assist her with transfers in the hospital. Unbelievably she walked out of Family of Caring Montclair independently! She is doing fantastic thanks to this talented team. I knew they were good. Now I know they are amazing! Five stars in my book!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our experience at this rehab center has been very positive. The staff truly listens to both the patient and family, which makes a huge difference. Everyone is kind, attentive and genuinely engaged in the care they provide. The OT, PT and speech therapists are excellent. They work with the patient's level of energy each day to adjust therapy accordingly; showing understanding and compassion. Patients are also offered activities, which helps keep them engaged and supported beyond therapy sessions. The doctors visit on a regular basis and are approachable and responsive. The administrators are available and willing to talk whenever questionsor concerns come up. The social worker is also helpful in planning and supporting a safe transition back home. Everyone in this facility treats you very warmly, people have been so kind. They all know what to do so professional. Nurses and aides are very helpful. Rehab team is absolutely great at helping people to get you to where you need to be and reach your goals. Housekeeping is so friendly and helpful as well very clean.. activities staff are great they are so fun and keep you on your toes they got me to bingo haven’t played in 50 years. Swapna got me walking wow I am so thankful for that. Roma the administrator has been very helpful pointing me in the right direction.ryan the adon is a cool guy he is good at his job. He gets this place going . Very organized here .thanks FOC

Good place to be if needed Michelle the activity coordinator she is very energetic super easy going, she makes sure we are having fun and busy . Most nurses are so good at what they do. the food is good .can't complain too much Nighttime staff can be better. Maintenance staff is very attentive. The rehab team is great they are truly best and get you moving. Ryan is a cool guy very helpful. Lauren administrator is a great lady always has a smile and takes care of all issues that may occur asap she is wonderful.

Mom was sent here after a brief hospitalization for physical therapy. They treat her great. The place is spotless and the staff is really nice. The physical therapy is working well and after just a week I can see big progress in my mother already. They also have all sorts of activities and keep her busy. Special callout for Debbie the activities director who my mom loves, makes sure she is happy, and always takes time to say hello when we are visiting.
