Family First Pediatrics

He has been the family pediatrician for 7 1/2 years. It was the best decision we made. I felt so safe bringing my children here as he requires his patients to be vaccinated. He is always so friendly and informative. He answers all of my questions. Reading reviews about the covid shot being required - he has never once pushed it for any of my kids. He does recommend the flu shot, however. I got a letter stating he was retiring in a couple of months. To say I'm heartbroken is an understatement 💔. I hope he enjoys his retirement - he has earned it, but we are going to miss him dearly. I haven't got the slightest idea as to where I will take my babies, but I hope to find a new place that feels like family again. Thank you Dr Selsky for being such an amazing doctor and always putting my babies

Dr. Selsky is a caring and incredibly professional Doctor. Bringing my first baby to him five years ago was the best choice we made! My daughter now sees him as well, and we have only been met with compassion and professionalism by him and his office staff. The front desk women are one of a kind and have always been helpful with any questions we might have. Absolutely recommend bringing your children to Dr. Selsky and Family First Pediatrics. Plus, he is a big Disney person so if you are into Disney even better!

We've been seeing this doctor for years for both of our children however recent the quality has gone down significantly. He's condensending, makes you wait an unnecessary amount of time, and will throw a tantrum if/when you disagree with him. The office staff can be pleasant but Dr. Selsky is not.

I am writing this review to warn other parents who may be seeking a pediatrician but also wish to make informed, personal choices regarding their child's healthcare, particularly vaccinations. While I initially hoped to establish a long-term relationship with this practice, my experience was deeply disappointing and, frankly, unethical. The doctor has an inflexible, non-negotiable policy that mandates adherence to a specific vaccination schedule. When I attempted to discuss a modified or delayed schedule, or simply express my preference to wait, the physician was dismissive and highly coercive. Ultimately, because I did not immediately agree to vaccinate my child who is 5 on the spot, we were immediately kicked out of the practice and refused all further services. This is not patient-cent

The examination tables are dirty, and the garbage can lids are broken. This Doctor is NOT logical. At our first visit he came in, DID NOT WASH his hands, checked both our children and only put gloves on before sticking his finger in our baby’s mouth, his words “He’s got a good suck”. They never showed us where our kids are on the growth chart. I asked about vaccines, our 14 month old was born in Japan and they didn’t start vaccines until she was 3 months old, but in the U.S. they were asking me to sign consent forms for vaccines before our son was even born. He explained why vaccines are so important, among the things he talked about: “Everyone’s freaking out about the COVID vaccine because it gives you myocarditis, but what they don’t realize is COVID itself can give you much worse myocar
