Family Eye Care West

I have been a patient of Family Eye Care West for nearly 13 years now. As a patient with pretty severe near-sighted vision, finding a reliable optometrist is vital for me. The staff at Family Eye Care West more than deliver. I have never had problems scheduling an appointment, and during my visits, the staff is always very respectful of my time. The staff is also extremely knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions I may have on treatment or insurance. Additionally, my children receive regular eye checks at Family Eye Care West. The staff's interaction with my kids is great, they are able to take some of the stress out of it for the younger ones while helping to explain good eye health to the older ones.

Our family has been going to Dr Jan since she became a doctor. Even our son who lives SC still goes to her when he is home visiting. This location is wonderful with a very friendly staff and a clean spacious office. Dr Jan is special and takes time with each patient. We would not go anywhere else.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Frederickson for 20 years. She is the best. Very patient ,caring and is a great doctor. Her entire staff is very good at what they do. We will never go anyplace else.

Very friendly and helpful staff!! They performed a very thorough exam. After I purchased my glasses, I had red marks on my nose due to the nose pads being too hard. I went back and they worked with me to get softer nose pads installed (tried a few different sets until they worked).

I've followed Dr. Jan from downtown Pittsburgh to Greensburg (from the North Hills), and will continue to do so. She 'caters to cowards,' and I appreciate that more than anything. Staff is friendly and courteous; all are thorough in their jobs. If I travel 40 miles to see her, she's good! (Can't say "Loved it" with five stars -- who likes to go to any doctor enough to say they loved it?)
