The team at Family Dentistry West Salem are all great. They work with you and all the concerns you have. It’s also fun to joke around with Dr. Weber during your visit. I am the first one to admit I hate going to the dentist and I have to say this team makes it very pleasurable. Thank you all for everything you do!

I had been a patient here for about 10 years, but I had an unfortunate experience ultimately causing me to find a new dentist. I had a cracked back molar last year that generated only very minor pain. I told my hygienist about it and after some bite tests that were not painful at all, they recommended I get it extracted immediately and pushed me towards a bone graft and tooth implant, telling me I would miss that tooth. I got the extraction and bone graft with cadaver bone paste injected into my jaw. This all was done in-office, with nitrous gas--but the gas wasn't enough, I still felt panicked during the procedure when the dentist pried the tooth out of my mouth. Then the bill I was sent just for the extraction/graft was over $1000, AFTER insurance. I did not continue the implant process

I love this place because they are so caring and understanding; you're not just a dollar sign to them. Other places better take notes.

I was scheduled for my 6 month cleaning today at 9:00am. I got the call yesterday to remind me & it said I could text the number to confirm or cancel, I texted yesterday & again last night explaining I have a migraine and would not make it (I have had this migraine going on 3 days now, so I knew i still wouldn’t be well enough to go to the appointment since it still wasn’t letting up yesterday). They must not have gotten my texts because I received calls from them today, but what surprised me was they weren’t calling mad that I wasn’t there, they seemed genuinely concerned that I missed. I called them to explain why I wasn’t there & that I tried texting yesterday, the worker was SOOO KIND!!! I am absolutely baffled by how understanding and supportive they were about it. I was experiencing some tooth pain and they were able to get me in for an appointment the next business day. Lacy was great and really understanding of me being anxious. Jodie was very nice at check out and made sure I understood the next steps for my care.
