The system they run through is not humane. When you call and let them know what you need, the assistants are kind and do their jobs. They will run your insurance, take photos and then say they can’t help you unless you (a) make them your primary dentist. (b) they do not have a surgeon on staff. The idea that people labeled Black, Brown ect have higher pain tolerances is proven by the fact, the oral surgeon comes in once a month. Yet they will take your insurance money without saying they can’t, or are not capable. That is insurance fraud at its best. I told multiple people from western dental what I needed. I left work to go and be told that they could not do it.
