Family Dental & Advanced Implant Center - Louisville

I would like to clarify that I’ve never been one to enjoy going to the dentist. However, after my recent visit, I have to say I’m actually making it a priority! Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was how clean and inviting the office was. I was greeted and with smiles and welcomed in as if I had been there several times before. After my treatment, Amanda took my payment, rescheduled my next appointment and thanked Me for coming in. Everyone was very kind and personable. I highly recommend!

Great experience here. Everyone has been so helpful and friendly to my wife and I. Dr Herrick and Tiffany worked on my two fillings. Once they understood I am severely allergic to pain they made me very comfortable. Though Dr. Herrick seemed to have to give me 5 times the normal dose of Novocaine. I appreciated that more than anything. I no longer fear the dentist thanks to these folks!

Addison is the rudest un professional person I have ever spoken to in that office. They billed my insurance for a job that I never had done back in 2023, I asked Addison why wasn’t it reversed or even sent to my insurance if the work wasn’t done ! She said they had no idea that I was not going to get it done and now it’s 2025 she says ! ?My insurance believes I had this work done. I was trying to understand why it was even billed.. she was rude , inconsiderate, and just blatantly nasty about my money ! She even called the police on me , because she was upset that she didn’t know the process ! Why was my insurance billed for a job that was not completed ?? I asked her well since you all got paid for a job that wasn’t done and you were paid in 2023 which I had no idea ! Let’s do the job.

10-7-24 Paid $645 for the smile and save program. My husband And I had one dental cleaning. My husband passed away in January. I was scheduled to have another cleaning in September, but developed a medical condition that required a lot of testing to determine what it was. I had to cancel that appointment. I had a recurrence of thyroid cancer. Which I had removed 25 years ago. I called to make sure that The dental cleaning would be paid since it was six days past the next renewal date. No. They would not. I’m finding a new dentist. I have been impatient there for 54 years. Sad.

This place is an absolute joke. They sent a bill in late. The insurance company had the date of when it was posted. They missed it and tried to get me to pay the amount that they missed. The office lady is rude. She hung up the phone and Amanda passed the buck. They don’t have a clue what’s going on in that office. Their dental service may be good, but their office personnel is a total joke
