Fairlane Gardens at Reading

This Place Is Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Please please please do not send your loved one here. My grandfather was at this facility for a week, when I decided to pull him out. Within that week I received 2 phones calls stating my grandfather fell out of the bed. Every time we had gone to visit in the evening he would be sitting in a soiled diaper for who knows how long. That we would be the one changing him. My grandfather would complain everyday that none of the nurses would help him when calling for help. They also didn’t follow his diet due to him aspirating every time he would eat. And to top it off, when he was discharged home, his knees were scraped and his ankle swollen and was never notified about this. I would NEVER NEVER recommend this place this anyone.

My mother received horrible care at this facility!! All those 5 stars are fake reviews !! No one would truly recommend this place at all that has had family in this facility. My mother was talked to HORRIBLY by staff . She was in pain after surgery and sent there for rehabilitation and she was denied her prescription pills and was instead given Tylenol for MAJOR SURGERY. Being told to wait until they are “ ready “ for basic needs like a bed pan , her medication, and to be given food !! That is ridiculous. Her food was also disgusting.

I am currently in Fairlane Gardens. If I could rate it as 0 I would. This place is filthy dirty. I’ve been here two weeks and not one time have they swept or mopped the floor in the room. They have also not wiped down the bedside table even once. The food is slop and extremely unhealthy. They don’t even serve fresh fruit. It is so bad that the only thing I’ve been eating is a very non-nutritional salad with iceberg lettuce, cucumber, and sometimes tomatoes. I’ve rang the call button multiple times and no one responds for over an hour at times. By the time they arrive, I often forget why I rang the bell in the first place. Pain management is poor at best. I don’t recommend this place for anyone. The only good thing are the girls in PT and OT. Please, don’t put your loved ones in this

If you have loved ones who are elderly DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT BRING THEM HERE! I found out my Nana was brought to this place for physical therapy and getting here and seeing what she was fed and went through. I would never EVER recommend anyone to come here. First off let’s start with the cleanliness of the place. HORRIBLE. They do not clean well here. The curtains in her room were filthy and looked like blood stains on them, floors are filthy and smells like urine in the hallways and it’s gross! They don’t dust in there either and her bathroom does not have any soap in the dispenser or sanitizer when she needs to wash her hands. She does not have or cannot have a small refrigerator provided to her for snacks and other beverages because they say it can cause a fire because of the wires

If i could give a zero i would . We have recordings of my grandmothers mistreatment after a major spine surgery. She was left in her own fecal matter for 2 hours they changed her bedding and left her in a flat sheet no pillows on her bed still covered in her own shit . And threatened to call the cops when we refused to sign for completion of care when removing her from there .
