Eye Site of Hilton Head Located inside the Hilton Head Wal-Mart

I had an amazing exam visit by Dr. Szypczak, who saw me for an emergency visit on a Saturday morning after an eye injury. He conducted a very thorough exam and took time to clearly explain what was happening to my eye, what I should look for if the problem worsened, and how to manage my eye while it heals. He is personable, knowledgeable, professional, and caring… an extraordinary (and unusual!) find in healthcare today. His assistant at the desk is simply wonderful too!! My deepest gratitude to both of them. I only wish I lived here so I could see him for my regular eye visits.

I didn't personally receive service, but I brought my dad here for an urgent eye exam due to the ocean eating up his glasses. My dad doesn't particularly like going to doctors or other medical professionals, so to hear him say how much he liked Dr. Szypczak was pretty telling. Just by Dr. Szypczak's body language and conversation, you could tell he is a people person. Within the hour (without an appointment), my dad had his eye exam done with a set of well-suited contacts. Despite living in California, my dad is now considering making side trips here every year or two for his follow-ups.

Wonderful and informative exam by Dr. Szypczak, a great staff to support him as well! Easy and quick, but not rushed, very professional and sensitive.
