Express Care At Saint Vincent - West

Receptionist has an attitude. I was asking for a wait time, unaware that they did not provide estimates. I was told there are three providers and a line at each. I told her that i was coming to see express care (obviously misunderstanding what she was saying). She responded with exactly the same thing, with much more aggression and annoyance in her voice. I was trying to be friendly, and since I was leaving work to get seen an estimate would have been nice. Of course I understand if an estimate could not be provided, but there was no need for the aggression and rudeness. Dissatisfied. I called on 3/9/26 at 11:11.

All staff there was amazing and caring. They went above and beyond also when I thought I didn't have a correct form and they navigated My Chart with me! Thank you everyone and will continue to come here with urgent care needs!

Walked in 40 minutes before closing for an x ray on my foot. She told me hold on a minute. Then she went to the back, came out one second later and said they were at capacity. There were no patients in the waiting room and hardly any cars in the parking lot. She said go down the street they are open until 7pm. I said can they do x rays. She said I don't know come back tomorrow. Not only is this unethical bur should be illegal to refuse medical care just because they want to get out of work early. FYI I did go down the road where I wasn't refused care, very friendly and they do xrays.

If I could give it a zero I would. No comparison rude and unfriendly from the start. Especially the nurse practitioner she needs some bedside manners

Will not be returning. I’d recommend seeking care elsewhere. The front desk woman who checked us in was unfriendly. Likely was having a bad day.. but then the medical assistant who brought us back did not tell me my child’s vital signs. I had to ask what they were, which she still didn’t tell me all of them. Then she told me completely different numbers than what she typed in & what showed on the after visit summary… She also was using her stethoscope backwards & I watched her take my child’s blood pressure wrong. Then the MD, Dr. Nancy Flynn-McGarvie, came in. She also was using her stethoscope backwards. Seems to be a trend there. She rushed through our visit. There was literally no one in the waiting room when we got there… as I was trying to ask her a question towards the end of our vi
