Exer Urgent Care - Tarzana

Went there today and the staff is wonderful and super helpful and compassionate. The front desk girl was super sweet and the female PA and medical assistant were excellent!! Also the place is extremely clean and nice. Love this place, it's my go to, I have closer urgent cares but this is my fave as it is always an exemplary experience. The young man working there (doctor or Pa) also was kind enough to hold the door and was very welcoming even though I was not his patient.

We had a great experience at Exer Urgent Care. (I brought my daughter in for a sprained ankle.) The facility is really nice, it’s clean and it’s well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful and kept us very well informed through the whole process. Bridget, who greeted us at the front desk and Heidi, the medical assistant are both so sweet and helpful. Mark, the x-ray tech was also friendly and did a fantastic job explaining everything. Eileen, the nurse practitioner who saw my daughter was great. She saw us quickly, explained everything and took good care of everything. Even though I live in Sherman Oaks, I will definitely go back to this Exer in the future.

If I could give no stars I would. I walked in for an appointment for my son and said Goodmorning and was greeted with “how can I help you” now I get not everyone has to be kind but then I get a really bad attitude from front desk girl the whole time. They claim they don’t take my insurance when I’ve visited other exer locations and have been accepted with no issues. I was doing my best to be understanding but they canceled my son’s appointment after all the run around claiming they aren’t contracted with my insurance. Going to be in contact with corporate on this matter.

The Tarzana facility is always clean and calm, the staff are friendly and helpful. I've been to this facility 2-3 times and the wait time is never long. The NP's and doctors are efficient and listen to me when I explain symptoms I'm experiencing. I'm so glad for Exer Urgent Care close to home when I'm having a health problem, it's good to know I can be seen in a day to insure any health troubles I'm having don't grow into big issues.

I do not recommend Exer. I was first asked a series of questions by the nurse, and then the nurse said they were using AI to inform them what tests to administer. This was not time well spent and could have been a survey I was given in the waiting room. Additionally, when the doctor came in, they took one look at the results, named a medication they would prescribe, dismissed my questions, and quickly left the room, completing the appointment. Also, three weeks later, Exer sent me a text on a Saturday morning that an auto-payment was scheduled for that following Monday. Not only did they not provide a detailed bill for what the charge was for, but there was no where online to stop the auto-payment, and billing offices were closed over the weekend.
