Exer Urgent Care - Sherman Oaks Ventura Blvd

New urgent care with helpful and friendly staff. A particular call out to my NP, Michael Scott - he cracked me up with stories of his name getting questions about The Office for obvious reasons and was just a great conversationalist, all while quickly providing the exact care I came to get. A MUCH easier (and faster) visit that other urgent cares in the area, I'd recommend going to THIS one. They will likely get more busy over time with this level of service and care.⚕️

Every visit there is 13 pages of online information you will have to re-enter. Then to leave a review I had to create an account with a new website. This rigid online system was annoying for me, but my heart goes out to the people who may lose access to urgent care due to this. The care we received from the providers is great, and the front desk staff is incredibly kind. There is something seriously wrong with the business operations, from AI answering phones, to being forced into redundant technological systems...each and every visit. This review is for exer urgent care and not the wonderful staff. I initially went to another urgent care but they changed hours, and I found this Exer which was way better! The staff was super kind, like the person at the check-in desk who took the initiative to ask if I had questions and the person doing intake (Naraly) made me feel welcomed and human with kind interactions that made the experience less intimidating. The practitioner was super efficient and explained things well. My prescription was expediently sent to the pharmacy I indicated in my check-in documentation. Everything was paperless, fairly easy to navigate on my phone (check-in forms were succinct) and I received my discharge documents as a secure link via text. Excellent team - took my dad in for a chest x-ray last night and the nurse practitioner on staff, the receptionist, and the x-ray tech were all kind, patient, professional. Stellar team who made my dad feel comfortable and did everything promptly. Definitely recommend coming here for urgent care.

I came in for a booked pre-employment drug screening only to be turned away and told to come back the next day. When I came in the next day, after waiting despite having an appointment, I was told that my order expired yesterday and I could no longer be seen. I would need to contact my future employer and create a new order. After driving to this clinic twice and spending over 1.5 hours for a 5 min screening I was still not seen. If you turn a client away at least have the courtesy to advise them that their order will no longer be valid the next day and that they would needlessly spend an hour in your waiting room. Paola the receptionist today was incredibly kind and tried to assist in anyway she could.
