Exer Urgent Care - Porter Ranch

With an appointment scheduled ahead of time, I’ve found that EXER Urgent Care has been able to handle all of my basic urgent care medical needs. Their staff have all been very professional, polite, caring, helpful, considerate, and allowed me to advocate for myself. Their office rooms are larger than UCLA’s, they at comfy, and their waiting room is comfy, clean, and accessible to all. Dr. Pham, and Dr. Villavicencio are both very professional and great doctors to work with, as are all of their nursing staff, and administrative staff. I DO NOT RECOMMEND go there for/on a walk-in basis unless you are prepared to sit and wait for 1-3 hits on some days. The service was good but the wait time needs to be improved. The young man working the front desk was cordial and he told me the wait time would be at least 3 hours. I checked in @ 5:22pm and I left the facility around 8:30pm. It was a long wait and one patient insisted on talking loudly on his cell phone. So much for common courtesy. A sign should be posted about the proper use of your cell phone. Overall the service that I received was exceptional. The doctor that I saw told me I needed to see an ophthalmologist for the swelling in my eye. I’m visiting from out of state and the last thing I needed was a visit to an urgent care facility however I’m thankful for the care I received for my eye. The staff was very friendly and professional, and the wait time was short. The provider took the time to listen to my concerns and explained everything clearly. Overall, it was a smooth and reassuring experience. Dr. Pham was very kind, attentive, and professional. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable with the treatment plan. I really appreciated how patient and thorough he was—it made the whole visit feel reassuring and positive.

I received excellent care today at this location. I walked in and was taken in almost right away. My provider Nino was very attentive and caring. He listened to me and explained everything thoroughly. The medical assistant was equally great. I was happy with the care they provided. They exceeded my expectations.

This was my 1st time visiting Exer Urgent Care in Porter Ranch. I brought my international student in for a Sports Physical. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile by Angelo M. He explained what we needed to do. As my student was putting in his information on the tablet he was having a problem in continuing. I told Angelo and he immediately came to our rescue. He saw what the problem was and got us through to the next steps. As I started to enter information on my phone, I said oh no my phone's battery is going to dye soon. Immediately Angelo got me a charger for my phone to use. He then explained more about the form we had brought. He then stated that our wait would be about 35 minutes. Sure enough about 35 minutes later we saw Dr Pham. He was very attentive and well man
