Exer Urgent Care - Pasadena - Del Mar Blvd

I had an excellent urgent care visit where I was diagnosed with a bad case of bronchitis that exacerbated my underlying asthma. The facility is clean and they were organized. The doctor and all of the nurses and other staff I interacted with were very pleasant and compassionate. The doctor gave me very clear information to follow and answered every questionI had without me feeling rushed. I had to wait about 20 min for my appointment because I did a walk in not realizing I could pre-schedule my appointment online. I highly recommend this clinic. That, and four days post my visit, I'm finally starting to feel better!

While there was a moderate wait time during my visit, I was pleasantly surprised with the attention and care provided by clinic staff, specifically the nurse who assisted me with an ear lavage. I've had these types of procedures performed before, so I know how uncomfortable they can be, but my nurse demonstrated great care and ability. In fact, it's the first time I've had such a quick and effective ear lavage with no dizziness whatsoever! A big thanks to the wonderful staff.

One never wants to go to an Urgent Care, but if you have to, definitely go to Exer Urgent Care on Del Mar Blvd. Pasadena, CA I had to go recently for a tumble I took when running and it was just excellent from start to finish. The front desk and nurses are helpful, professional, and kind. When they saw I had been injured they immediately took me to a room and the nurse kindly admitted me by filling out all my paperwork herself on the computer. I have long gone with family members to Exer on Del Mar and I can tell you the doctors are the very best-- kind, understanding, thorough, excellent diagnosticians, and they don't cut corners with doing everything they can for your care, health and comfort. I’ve visited Exer Urgent Care several times and overall I’ve never had issues with the care itself. The staff is professional, the check-in process is smooth, and I’ve always felt I was treated well. For urgent care, I’d say the service is pretty solid. However, I really do need to mention the music they play in the waiting room. A lot of the time it’s rock-style songs or tracks that just don’t match the atmosphere of a place where people are sick, anxious, or in pain. When people come to urgent care, they’re usually uncomfortable and not feeling their best — and loud or upbeat music can actually make it feel worse. The receptionist was prompt and greeted me with a smile even though she was swamped answering questions and checking patients in by herself, my medical assistant was very nice and made feel comfortable. Physician was mazing; he checked in on me and told me exactly what labs he would be having done on me to get my proper Dx and went over my results prior to my discharge. I would highly recommend this urgent care and their staff to anyone seeking medical attention.
