Exer Urgent Care - Long Beach - PCH

The wait time was 15 minutes. Pretty good. The staff was courteous and polite. The doctor checked my throat, ears and lungs. A culture was taken from my cheeks. I didn’t quite understand my diagnosis. My test results were negative but I was prescribed several medications. The doctor said she would call me next day to follow up. No call. I did get a call early with test results. I was prescribed an antibiotic that has helped. I am almost clear 6 days later. My real complaint is your parking lot. It is quite dark especially near the entrance and by the steps. That is a problem.

I walked into Urgent Care on a Saturday morning. I had an issue with my hand. The lovely lady at the front desk was very helpful in assisting me with my paperwork. The office was very clean. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. The PA took his time with me. Great job!

My interaction with the receptionist, David, was completely unacceptable. He was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the entire interaction. In healthcare, compassion, respect, and basic people skills are not optional — they are essential. David showed none of these. Patients are already vulnerable, stressed, and seeking help, not attitude. No one should be treated this way, and it’s hard to imagine anyone wanting to be spoken to the way he spoke to me. This behavior reflects extremely poorly on the office and should be addressed immediately.

The location was packed. It did take us about 3 hours to be seen. They use a texting notification. So we were able to comfortably leave the location and go get something to eat and hold up at a near by Starbucks while we waited. The service was a 10 out of 10 once we were seen. The communication from the office staff was a 10 out of 10 too. The waiting area is small. So we appreciate the ability to wait elsewhere.

The gentlemen at the front desk was very polite and helpful. He made sure to check with the office to ensure the medication shot I needed they had stock of before I got into the nitty gritty of the paper work. The two girls who assisted me back to the exam room and helped me with my shot and monitoring me were super nice and funny. Very personable. Keith was also just as kind and personable. This was probably one of the easiest, fast and friendliest urgent care visits I've had, which I've had a dozen or so at least. If I still lived in Long Beach this would be my preferred location, but I live in Anaheim. Luckily I was in the area and this office was able to take me before they closed. Thank you so much for getting me in, making the process quick and getting me the relief I needed.
