ExcelCare at Egg Harbor

The physical therapy department was great. Got my wife up from a bed to a walker and made the transition home great. Through the grace of God my wife is doing fantastic and now is walking with a cane. Thanks Mike, Dan and Dan, Vicky and Lisa! Holly was a huge help and was so sweet as were some of the nurses especially Jennifer. The lady from Morocco ( I'm sorry I forgot her name who had the refreshments) was a real sweetheart and was so encouraging to my wife. Thank you all.

My dad’s CNA today 12/11/25 was outstanding. Listened tall our question (patiently). Returned with Mike the director of PT. He answered several questions and made sure we understood where we are headed in the coming days. Was going to have conversations with the Drs on our behalf. Great staff!!!

From friendly, painless check-in to engaging sign out 30 minutes later, ExcelCare was a good experience, especially since the friend I came to visit is in a nice, clean room (some questionable furnishings and equipment) and was clear that most of the personnel were professionals and work well with their patients.

I do not recommend this facility for anyone of any age. I had stayed here for 3 weeks back in October 2025 and let me tell you the worst and traumatizing experience of my 43yrs of life. I had corrective foot surgery that was successful and went to this facility for rehabilitation. They said they could give me the care I needed, boy was that a big mistake. Alot of staff there was young and did not care to give "BASIC" care, things as simple as waiting 2 hours for a glass of ice water. The nurses there do nothing but hand out drugs... If even that... they make u wait hours to get pain medication, and take over an hour breaks at times. Don't bother hitting the light, they dont answer it or they come in turn it off and disappear for hours. Having an external fixator on my leg it needed daily

My mom went to Excel Care for rehab on the 1st floor in January & then went upstairs for Long Term Care till she passed on April 4, 2025 from Dementia/Alzheimer's. The facility is really nice and clean and it always smells so nice when you go in there. The staff was very nice & I know my mom didn't make it easy for them with how her Dementia made her super combative. I would also like to give Jocelyn in Rehab a great review as well. She was always there to answer any questions that I had & was also good with mom. Everyone is so nice from the ladies who greet you in the front, HR & the whole entire staff. Thank you for taking care of my mom.
