I highly recommend Dr. Abougamra! I've been coming to Excel Dental for a few months now and Dr. Abougamra has gone above and beyond in both practical and aethetic care of my teeth and smile. As a child, my parents couldn't afford braces, and Dr. Abougamra noticed this. He took it upon himself not to mold my crowns by the computer generated specs, but to take the time to alter the shape and length to better fit, be in better alignment with my row of teeth, and produce a more proficient bite that doesn't counteract my bottom teeth. My uneven teeth had been causing a lot of destruction over the years. He's a perfectionist whom will spend as long as it takes for the outcome to be and look as envisioned, and just right - everything I never knew I desired in a dentist. Thank you Dr. Abougamra! A

I originally had posted a really positive review a year ago, but their practice has gone extremely downhill in that time. - had my cleaning in spring and was told I needed such and such dental work completed. Dentist only documented half the work that needed to be completed. When I called to make an appointment, the office manager kept arguing with me that there was nothing noted about the work I was asking for. I had to go in for a second appointment so the same dentist could double check what he told me and correctly document it. Gave me a scare when I suddenly owed them a balance I was not aware of. I got a notification that I had an appointment that I did not make. I asked to be removed from automatic appointments and why I was charged. Their front desk is always friendly and helpful, but they couldn't say why I owed money but at least they removed the charge. I'm going to call them monthly for a while to make sure I don't get ghost charges that go to collections.

⭐ If I could give negative stars, I would. I had an infected tooth and scheduled treatment with Excel Dental — not once, but twice my appointments were cancelled. The first time, the doctor didn’t even come in. The second time, they claimed I never confirmed my appointment, even though I spoke to someone on the phone days prior and replied to all their confirmation emails. From the start, I had a bad feeling. During the initial X-ray, the staff member was banging on my broken tooth with a metal tool — no medication, no care — and seemed like he was in a major rush. This office has been completely unprofessional and careless from start to finish. I would never recommend Excel Dental to anyone.

If I wanted to be seen an hour after my appointment, I would've made my appointment for an hour later... Like many 1 star reviews have mentioned, they double book appointments. I arrived to my appointment on time and was taken to the room at the appointment time along with another person. I sat there for nearly an hour before I was seen by the doctor, who had been seeing the other person. I basically sat through their entire appointment before I was seen for my 5 min routine cleaning appointment. Nobody apologized or offered an explanation for the delay. I find it very rude that they ask you to confirm the appointment via text and call numerous times, yet they can't bother to be on time for their clients. I chose this place out of convenience, and I have been here 3-4 times now, each time
