EVMS Dermatology

Scheduling is awful. They should have sent me to Norfolk. I was scheduled with a PA, who was nice, but I expected an MD. Then I was told any other follow ups, because they would be deemed as cosmetic by insurance, would have to be in Norfolk. I would have to wait 3+ more months to see anyone. AND they do not see anyone later in the afternoon. I. Wasted a day off because of this scheduling snafu!

The front desk staff was very friendly, they got me in on time and out quickly, the PA was thorough with my exam and explained what he was looking at as he was looking at it. I definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this practice. From the moment you come in and see the receptionist, then nurse and the Doctors was a very amazing experience. Everyone was so pleasant and knowledgeable made me feel extremely comfortable throughout my visit and follow-up. Even the app they have to view your chart and make payments was very user-friendly. I highly recommend them!

The Dr was good, but be very careful, they do enjoy charging for erroneous charges, such as missed visit, that we were never informed about & in fact was referred to another practice for surgery, had no need for a follow up appointment. Tried for a month to correct this with no call backs & referred to supervisor that's mail box was full. Would not go back or refer to this group due to their billing policies.

The doctors were excellent and so was the service and the follow ups. They treated all my skin issues successfully by recommending all the right ointments and medicated shampoos. Yes it was difficult to get an appointment because they commute between Norfolk and Va Beach locations.
