LPC Josh Mabray of Evergreen Family Medicine exhibited a shocking level of unprofessional and unethical behavior during a session with my loved one. People enter a therapy session in a vulnerable state. It is the responsibility of a therapist or counselor to handle that vulnerability with care. Instead, Mr. Mabray spoke in a reckless and demeaning manner. In what world is “you just need to be positive,” good advice when an individual is facing housing and financial instability? The things that Mr. Mabray said to my loved one sound more akin to something he read in the book “The Secret,” than something he learned in college. Not a good experience. My mom was the administrator of a large hospital in Houston, Texas so I am very familiar with people in hospitals, clinics, and urgent care. They should have a professional conduct that embodies compassion and displays the mission of "caring" for you. I had lots of leg pain and went in as soon as they opened at 7am. It is the first thing you notice, no one smiles, and you feel like you are just another number. Communications were blunt, and some were even rude. Most seemed as if they hated their job and did not have much care or empathy for me being in extreme pain. This was at 7am, so I would hate to see what it is like at the end of the day. My advice to anyone reading this is to drive to Eugene for urgent medical help.

If you need any medical needs taken care of definitely do not go to Evergreen urgent care/family practice. You will wait for over a half hour yo bee taken into the back then it will be another half hour wait until you actually get seen. If you want to get real service go somewhere else

I normally would give Evergreen urgent care 4 or 5 stars. After my visit to Urgent Care on Edenbower Yesterday I will never go back there again. I went in for symptoms of bacterial vaginosis ( which is exactly what I wrote on the symptoms slip). When I got pulled back to get my vitals checked the nurse listed off totally irrelevant, non existing symptoms and embarrassing ones at that. The guy at the front desk had input false information on my chart. None of which was accurate. Then when I was put into a room the doctor came in and listed off the same symptoms the nurse had just mentioned but with a sarcastic smile on his face. The smile disappeared when I sternly said that those were not my symptoms. Backtrack to before I entered the room, as I was walking from vitals to the back one of t
