Dr Young is super nice and understanding about every situation you have. Whether it be a last minute contact lens order or payments. He's very thorough with eye exams and he explains why certain testing need to be done. He accepts all kinds of insurances from quest to VSP. Just call and ask if you're unsure if the office takes your insurance or not. The staff is really helpful when it comes to these things ! I was seeing Dr. Ming Chen but I felt like my prescription was too strong so I went to Dr Young because the scheduling was super fast and easy and he was able to help me out ! Will definitely be coming back annually.

Came here because VSP was supposed to be covered for an eye exam, was not even though it is clearly listed in the directory on their website. Receptionist could not resolve the issue for weeks and then just ended up billing me and said "we are no longer going to accept VSP or United Health". Walked out with my prescription, the doctor making no adjustments to my old prescription from the mainland that I got 5 years ago. After getting my glasses through a different vendor (they do not carry many popular brands like Ray Ban) discovered that it took three weeks of headaches and distorted vision to finally "adjust" although I still couldn't see straight close up, eyes constantly shuttering to focus and when removing my glasses my eyes would basically cross. I went back to Eugene for a re-test
