As a former dentist for 31 years, I've had my teeth cleaned by many different dental hygienists. I recently became a new patient at Essex Bay Dental in Essex, MA (David Konefal, D.M.D) and just had my 1st cleaning......Wow! My hygienist Kailey was extremely thorough, gentle, professional and personable. My teeth look and feel fantastic! My periodontal exam and oral cancer screening were very comprehensive. Dr. David's exam was also excellent. The office is very warm, cozy, friendly and conveniently located near Googans Galley in Essex! (try the gingerbread donut at Googans.....you won't be sorry!)

I love this practice. Dr Konefal and staff are the best. He made time for me and fixed my crown during the holiday season. Maggie and all the staff make you feel so well taken care of and comfortable.

I have been going to Essex Bay Dental since they opened and I have had nothing but a wonderful experience! I have pretty bad dental anxiety and Dr. Konefal, Dr. Hogan and the staff have been extremely comforting and warm each visit which really put me at ease. It's so refreshing to find a dental office that is kind, welcoming, polite, and understanding. They have helped me out more in the 1 year I've been going than most offices I've been to before.
