My last name is Runge for verification. This still shows my maiden name. Hayden was seen Sunday for retractions a cough temp and distress. Dr. Schmitz saw him a month prior for just a cough. After explaining that we did everything she suggested and the cough was worsening and now having retractions and showed her video taken Sunday morning she said it was just congestion and not to take him to the hospital or anything. They checked his oxygen at my request and they used an adult one that goes around a finger instead of the infant one that goes around the hand or foot. After getting a low reading they say that couldn’t be right and switched fingers till they squeezed and got 99 and sent him home. Being a first time momma and my son's 2 weeks appointment, Dr. Schmitz answered my questions plus showed me how to "remind" my baby's neck muscles that there is two sides. She also listened to my personal health issues when I told her so was aware in case our baby needed to be tested later on. She was very caring and understanding. I would highly recommend Dr. Schmitz as a Pediatrician and look forward to our future visits, along with the LPG. We have not had any issues with anyone at the LPG facility we have seen during our hospital stay when he was born or his three visits to the clinic!! You are greeted with a warm welcome from the receptionists and it feels like home when you walk in!

We feel very lucky to have Dr. Schmitz and the LPG as our doctor and network. She is so patient, understanding so very in tune with what goes on with our little one. We appreciate her and the entire staff for all of their kindness and support in raising our little one!

Dr. Schmitz is very personable, professional, and thorough. She wasn’t the physician we initially followed up with out of the hospital, but called us to check in. She truly cares about her patients and what’s best for them and their families. We have now seen four different physicians at LPG and very pleased with our daughters care.

Today we had our first appointment with Dr. Schmitz. She was very kind and took a genuine interest in getting to know us and our child. I felt she took ample time with us asking a lot of questions and genuinely listening to our son. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Dr. Schmitz.
