Erie County Medical Center

Both the hospital staff & the C.P.E.P. department that I’ve encountered were very professional and really cared for the most part, though the discharge and receptionist staff need to be better equipped in handling people with any type of mental health emergencies with better care and respect (healthy boundaries) that will lead to better approaches that are centered around responses full of patience and compassion. Also, It was stated that they are a medical center & not a shelter to just lobby in due to homelessness or personal relations with staff. However, I’m hoping that the professionalism and courteousness continues. Thank you!

Thanks for all your help! I was transferred to ecmc after a serous motorcycle accident. They got me as comfortable I could be. Helped in many ways possible. Maddie and Josh you guys where awesome! Wish I could have said goodbye to Maddie! Food was even pretty good lol Hopefully I'll never go through this again. But I would definitely feel good if I sent back to ecmc Thanks everyone!

This is worst hospital I have ever seen. You cannot get anyone to answer the phone and when they do they are so rude It’s a disgrace how are veterans are treated at this facility. I wish there was another hospital they could go to.
