ER Dignity Health Hospital

On Tuesday, November 4th, I brought my mom to California Dignity Health Hospital. I stayed with her while she was triaged, tested, and placed in the internal waiting room inside the Emergency Department. My mom’s phone battery was low, so she asked me to go to my car to get her charger. Before I left, I checked with the nurses’ station and asked if it would be okay to go to my car and come back in. The nurses told me it would be fine and that I could return to the internal waiting area with no problem. When I came back around 7:03 p.m., I passed through security. The security guard at the front desk was on his phone, which didn’t seem very professional. When I explained that I had already been inside and that the nurses had said I could return, he told me to wait while he called the nurses

Went in the ER with major head trauma from a scooter accident I kept going in and out of consciousness.. they made me wait in this line they have and they were seeing people that had simple rashes before me.. ended up breaking my nose , a concussion, and shattered my cheekbone. When the new shift started/changed and another Dr came in for her shift she was absolutely shocked when she saw me waiting in the this long line passing out and I was seen. The staff member controlling this " Line" was extremely loud and rude and making inappropriate jokes all while watching me go in and out of consciousness. Only gave the 3 stars for the Dr that came in on her shift and pulled me out of the line to get a scan of my head.
