Epiphany Dermatology (formerly Sona Dermatology)

Dr Lee was very thorough. I went in asking to look at a rash/bump on my back. And not only he addressed that but he check all areas of my skin. Making sure there was nothing else needed to be checked. He asked questions and allowed me to speak. Felt I was heard. Most doctors just look at what you write as the complaint. But Dr. Lee and staff went above and beyond. Making it feel I was heard and seen. So I do appreciate that. Staff is amazing, funny and caring. Definitely if I have any other skin concerns I will come back.

Dr.Yu is extremely thorough in his annual skin exams and takes his time with me. He doesn’t just do a cursory exam , he checks everywhere including scalp , between toes, behind ears, even private areas, with permission of course. He also informs and discusses options for laser and chemical treatments to address undesirable spots. He also educates about the efficacy or lack thereof of various skin supplements and treatments. I have seen numerous dermatologists in my day, and am especially diligent with my skin due to genetic familial predisposition to skin cancer. Dr.Yu is the best I have seen and he has my complete confidence.

Great first visit at Sona Dermatology of Germantown. Arrived early to complete paperwork. Kayla at the front desk/check-in was outstanding. Very friendly, welcoming and quick to get me in to see Dr. Pillemer. Dr. Pillemer was excellent. Listened to my concerns, completed his examination and then explained his diagnoses and recommendations. Straight forward and very professional and friendly. Office is located on the second floor. Plenty of parking. Office is bright, spacious and clean. Overall a great experience. Had to wait several months for the appointment, but that is the only downside. But I am pleased with everything.

Dr. Pillemer and staff are wonderful. The assistant was very nice that assisted Sarah. Also, Dr. Pillemer manners are excellent and not intimidating at all and he made the appointment easier for Sarah. We have known the practice for years and keep up the good work. After my disappointing experience with Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, where I wasted nearly five years without a real solution—promises of call-backs that never happened and unprofessional treatment from some staff—I finally found a place that truly cares. This office absolutely deserves 5 stars! They are respectful, professional, and provide real solutions or clear options to consider. Prescriptions are handled quickly, and the overall experience is excellent.
