Epic Rehabilitation and Healthcare at White Plains

My mother was at Epic for a month and a half. The care she received was excellent. The facility was clean and the staff was very caring. I want to give special appreciation and recognition to the aide who took care of my mother on a regular basis. Fernand was so kind and patient with her. She treated mom with warmth that made such a difference in my mother's day. Regina took care of her meds and always came in with a smile. Mariah was excellent in regards to communication via phone calls or any time I had a question, she was always available. Once mom was ready to come home, Gloria Friedman the social worker was so helpful. She had a hospital bed delivered beforehand to make the transition easier not only for my mother, but for me too. My brother needed rehab We had a wonderful experience at Epic. The staff including all the departments were caring and supportive and professional. He improved with physical therapy as well as nursing services. He really benefitted from physical therapy occupational therapy and speech therapy. Admissions helped us navigate insurance and helped transition from the hospital. The social work department was caring and supportive and eased his transition to the community when it was time. We felt their concern and caring throughout his stay from the staff. They were so attentive. The principal reason that people choose Epic is because of the therapeutic department. Their rehabilitation program is stellar. It comprises a highly skilled staff that is deeply committed to reaching their patient's goals. They consistently bring positive energy to every therapy session. I would highly recommend Epic to others. Staff such as Vinny, Raphael and Joanne have been outstanding, always encouraging and motivating me to reach new goals. They also provided me with the exercises that I could do at home by myself to ensure I continued to improve. Without them, I would not have been able to move. The rehab department was wonderful as well as the nurses and the CNAs that I had. Nurse Josephine G. was amazing. Thank you to Maria Pisano for making my admission to epic a smooth experience.
