I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Englewood Radiologic Group’s billing practices. I was billed twice for a preventive mammogram that was already paid by insurance and then balance billed for both the mammogram and a preventive ultrasound — despite New Jersey law mandating full coverage. I provided all documentation and was told the charges would be reviewed and paused. Instead, I received a collections threat. I’ve spent hours disputing charges I never should have received. This process has been stressful and feels predatory. Patients deserve better billing transparency and accountability. I had no problem with medical side of their service but, their billing department is horrible. They have submitted claim with wrong diagnosis code so they have to resubmit a claim with corrected code. However, instead of resubmitting claim with corrected code, they decided to sent me a bill for it. When I tried to reach out to billing department, they said they will put in a review for refiling and it takes 3-5 business days. So I called back exactly on 5th business day for follow up. This time a call receiver named ‘Eddie’ answers the call and said that it wasn’t reviewed yet. So I asked when will they review it and he has no idea. I can't speak for the medical side of things - I assume they are good. However, the billing side of this business is horrendous. I have received a bill from them which should have been paid by my insurance. I spoke with the insurance company and they said that the group filed the claim incorrectly and they just need to fix one thing to get paid. AND THAT IS WHERE I AM STUCK! I cannot get in touch with anyone at ENGLEWOOD RADIOLOGIC GROUP's billing department, despite emails, voicemails and "pressing 1 to save my place in line and to have someone call me back when they are available." INSTEAD WE JUST KEEP GETTING THREATENING LETTERS ABOUT SENDING A COLLECTION AGENCY AFTER ME. THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. IT IS HARASSMENT. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM, WHICH THEY FILE

The billing department is horrendous, you call and they tell you to leave your number so you will be the next person in line and no one calls you back. I called them 10 times and still no return phone call. I was on hold for over an hour. Perhaps there is no person there ? Not sure what is going on but I guess no one is worried about getting paid !

The Doctors are amazing. However I have been trying to get a bill resolved for months. Billed incorrectly leaving me w a bill I should not have. Multiple calls and emails to their billing company and nothing. Next call is to the NJ Attorney General's office.
