Englewood Hospital: Radiology Department

Had my bloodwork, Xray, CT, and Ultra sound scheduled and was amazed at how fast, thorough, and expedited the process was. Every single person in each dept made it so easy. A++++

The doctors and staff are great, but the hospital scheduling people and portal maintainers just don't care. Also, Englewood's portal system (to communicate with your doctor) is completely useless. Not only do you not get a reply, but when I called to ask why my doctor hadn't answered me in the portal, I was told my messages were "in a cue" and had not even been sent to her. If Englewood wants to be a part of the technological age, they should know how to use their own system. Really harrowing when you need that communication in the middle of an illness.

Excellent care from start to finish. Scheduling was easy thanks to a patient and helpful woman on the phone, and the receptionist was very kind. I never had to wait long for any of my appointments. The nurses, radiation techs, and doctors were all incredibly compassionate and professional. A special thank you to Dr. Mester, Joy, and the rest of the team — they took exceptional care of me every step of the way.

Confusion and miscommunication with scheduling and registration is very frustrating . First I was informed I am not scheduled despite getting confirmation on e mail. Turns out confirmation text was sent to my office land line . That got resolved. Next “ you are cash pay after my insurance was sent ahead for verification . Then Oh!! I have it . Finally “ we never received your prescription “ Few minutes later “ I see it , wait to be called “ Then I waited until I realized everyone thst sat down after me had been called in . I asked and was informed they are waiting for my prescription from my physician but no one informed me . I did have access to this prescription but because no one communicated the reason I am left back , I did not produce it .

Sorry excuse for a hospital. The billing department for englewood does not know how to bill insurance. Context: my daughter was born at the hospital and we have a standard Medicaid plan which covered the birth as a whole even prior to the birth rep advised we aren't supposed to get a surprise bill. Since the billing department is incompetent they were billing my daughter instead of my plan. Newborns are covered under parents plan for 60 days from birth. Now they sent me to collections. This is ridiculous and believe me I'm reaching out for legal help in this matter. At this point just outsource your billing. You can take a paycut out or morshia since he's a soul less little gremlin who complains about color printers. Want to mention at least the nurses are great sucks they don't get the p
