I was highly recommended to Dr. Ava and all I can say is that she’s a miracle worker! I swear my SI joint pain/tailbone pain went away after one or two visits (I can’t remember- I can only remember it working almost immediately and I was impressed). I had been seeing a chiropractor for almost a month before seeing Dr. Ava and saw the most improvement of pain relief after just seeing her once or twice. I have had top tier chiropractic care and it is foundational for me, however, I also needed to add the acupuncture and Chinese medicine from Dr Ava and the functional medicine & Chinese medicine massage from Doc Tay to begin healing from a traumatic shoulder injury/back/arm martial arts injury. I have been seeing Dr. Ava for over 2 yrs. Prior to seeing her, I received acupuncture treatments from someone who had sports-medicine experience. Their technique was only placing needles superficially on pressure-points. They did not put any needles directly into my most painful areas, like Dr. Ava does. But, she uses E-Stem...I did not know there were different types of acupuncture. I have spinal osteoarthritis+sciatica in my lower-back. Which affects my leg, knee & foot. Along w/a buldging-disk, degenerative disc disease, rotator-cuff injury, several other neck & back pain, due to car accidents I was in. Dr. Eva is very thoughtful and professional in her approach to treatment, extremely friendly, and a great person to have in your life to heal whatever ails you. Both my injury/soreness and general well-being have greatly improved since I started seeing Dr. Eva. I would highly recommend her if you're looking for acupuncture in central SD. I've also gotten cupping treatment (excellent) and a few short massages (also excellent!). She is a great listener who tries to address the true root causes of whatever you are seeking treatment for. She also accepts some insurance, which is a bonus!

DON'T WAIT JUST GO! I was a migraine sufferer for 30 years, every month for up to a week at a time I had a migraine. I tried everything possible for pain management with no avail. My primary care physician at one point in my life had me on so many pills, until Dr. Ava was recommended to me. She also brought to my attention an anemia deficiency.
