Dr. Lindsey at Empower Balance Therapy & Wellness is an amazing addition to Waynesville! Her clients absolutely rave about her kind nature & PT guidance. I’m blessed to be currently offering yoga once a week in her new space & I must say, she’s done a great job on the remodel & set up. Vaulted ceilings & large windows make the space super bright & airy, and she has all the best equipment to meet her clients every need. Soon after I received the diagnosis that I had Parkinsons, a friend of the family suggested that I contact Empower Balance Therapy and Wellness. I arranged an evaluation visit with Dr. Hershberger and soon afterward I signed up for a series of therapy sessions. After a few sessions it was apparent that I had made a good decision for myself. Dr. Hershberger uses a set of routines and exercises coupled with equipment that focus on improving the mind-body connection. Within weeks I experienced improved balance, flexibility and muscle strength. It is hard work but it is a "good" pain and the rewards were quickly evident. Our family hasn’t seen our brother move like this since before he suffered a TBI in 1988. His face while he is there is all we need to see to keep him signed up with Dr. Lindsey. We remain quite moved by the pure joy she has brought him and add that he’s gaining strength, confidence and more and it’s a no brainer ; ) to keep him at it!
