Emmanuel Kai-Lewis

I have every confidence in my Dr. However, this was my 3rd time over the last couple of years that he has had a backup of his appointments due to his surgeries prior to my appointment. This last one (6/5/23) was the worst. I signed in about 10 minutes before my appointment and not until about at least 1 1/2 hours later a staff person came to the waiting room to let us know he was running behind due a delay from an earlier surgery. Had they had known this, they should’ve offered to reschedule our appointments. As it was I still had to wait about another half an hour finally to be seen by the Dr. My actual time with him was about 5minutes. VERY upset. The staff should have offered to reschedule!!!!!

Dr. Kai was very helpful with my scarred cornea issues. Thought I was going to have surgery, but suggested I try some eyedrops as it would be a first step, so hoping that works. He is very kind, knowledgeable, staff was great..highly reccomend him.

Dr Kai has a great attitude, knowledge, friendly, informative and most important does excellent work! I was very confident that I was trusting the right person with my eye sight!

Long wait to see the doctor (my appointment was 9:40 and didn’t see the doctor until after 11:40). Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The doctor did explain my situation and told me of my options in the future should I decide to or need to correct the issue. If you do choose to use the Punta Gorda office to visit the doctor, wear a sweater because the office is very cold.

Dr. Kai and everyone under him were very professional, very courteous and fun to be around. It was an enjoyable experience.
