Emergency Room at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison

Nurse Kelsey was SO genuinely caring and kind. She took great care of my son and we felt immediately comfortable. 🩷 Doctor Tuite it was also very kind and informative. All of the staff we encountered was very down to earth and did great at their jobs. Thank you!

Worst experience I have ever had. Still sitting in waiting room after 3 hours. After my Doctors sent me for emergency CT on my neck. If i could give no stars I would. Seems Triage needs better training on what is an actual emergency and what is urgent especially when PCPs send patients up to be evaluated.

I found it strange that the receptionists didn’t even ask me what’s wrong. They just gave me a bracelet and told me to sit. Being that it’s an emergency room, you would think there would be some sense of urgency. But other than that, someone saw me quickly and every single person that I interacted with once I was admitted were really nice and helped me stay calm. The PA that worked on me was great and professional. I felt safe in her care and all the nurses were great.

My admittance to St.Marys Hospital today was a positive experience. I was admitted quickly with a team of nurses attended to me using the necessary scans for a women with heart & B/P Issues & a CT scan. I was checked on throughout my stay with staff being professional, kind and caring. I was discharged with the understanding of following up with my cardiologist and scheduling some appointments at hospital. Thank you. Sincerely, Christine Meinert

The compassion and help that Dr. Kleiner was amazing along with all the team who saw me. My insurance changed a day ago and I knew no one in the system. They were amazing! Patient care with amazing bedside manner is a rare thing. Well done!
