Emergency Department - Plainview Hospital

Came to this ER at 2am accompanying my fiancé. They didn't have a room available so we're stuck in the hallway. Over an hour later, still hadn't been seen, I got scolded by a rude female nurse for using an empty chair no one needed while I waited with the patient. "You took his chair! That's his chair!" ("Him" being a different male nurse) We were there a total of 4 hours and the chair was never used. Insanity. What was the point? Photo of the nurse who scolded me and said empty chair.

The emergency department here is terrible. I was called with my blood results saying to immediately come to my nearest Northwell ER for the ID department (infectious disease). I left work in the middle of my day to rush over. I was in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours. When I was finally called in to a bed , the ER was practically empty yet i wasn’t seen for another 2 1/2 hours while in a bed. Nobody checked my vitals, asked me why I was there, started an IV. Nothing. I was in a bed in a hallway with an infectious disease. The staff in the ER were blasting music, catching up with each other from their holiday breaks and ignoring me and other patients. One patient was so fed up they took their own IV out and left When I asked for an update, they told me they had no idea when someone would

Got denied medical treatment because for whatever was going on today November 30th at 11pm 2024 there is cops and state troopers everywhere all they can say was there was something going on there but because of hipa laws they can't say anything. But they encourage me to go to a different hospital. Apparently whatever was going on there it was so important it had to take over the entire ER.
