Emerald- Brookside provides excellent care in a clean, welcoming environment. The staff are all professional, kind, and attentive to the residents needs. The hospital Liason is amazing to work with. Highly recommended!

I am upset that my mother had to be placed in this Medicaid facility due to state regulations and the lack of skilled nursing facilities in town, and she passed away here despite our efforts to transfer her elsewhere. The conditions are unacceptable. The building is filthy and poorly maintained, creating a dangerous environment for residents. Care is lacking and staff frequently ignore basic needs. There are no doctors on premises, fall protection is poor, the food is inadequate, billing is confusing and unfair, and staff are unaccommodating to family. If you choose this facility, you must be prepared to advocate for your loved one. Overall, this nursing home fails in every aspect of care — avoid it at all costs.

Needs to be shut down. An absolute nightmare in memory care ward. Hearing aids, teeth,glasses, cane, clothes all missing. Feces and urine everywhere. No care filthy place. 2nd and 3rd shifts even worse! Ground floor seems nice enough , but second floor memory care is an absolute disgusting nightmare!

I have heard nothing but great things about Emerald Lancaster from some family and close friends. My loved one will be moving in and I look forward to working closely with the staff there. No facility is perfect, but I truly feel we will be able to work together as a team.
