I started taking my son here when he was 18 months old and I can't say enough amazing things about all the staff here. From the beginning talking to Kathy, she walked me through everything I needed to do to get started and what the process looked like to get evaluated. She became a highlight of my day when I would go weekly. She truly cares about all the kiddos that come in and shows it everyday we walked in those doors. She is such an intricate part of Emerald and helps that place be a second home to so many families. We love you Kathy💛Then there was Melanie and Erica his speech therapists who always treated him just like he was one of their own. Their patience and empathy throughout us learning his diagnosis and how we navigated our journey moving forward was more than I could have asked

My son has been taking speech therapy at Emerald City Speech Therapy for about two years, and Melissa has been absolutely AMAZING. She’s patient, skilled, and truly cares about her kids. Overall, our experience here has been good. The only challenge I’ve run into is with insurance billing. There have been a few delays between the company and the insurance provider, which is stressful, especially since it’s not the consumer’s fault. Through all of that, Mrs. Kathy has been the one person who consistently stepped up to help. She has gone out of her way to assist me and keep me updated, and you don’t find that kind of support often these days.

I highly recommend Emerald City Therapies. Cathy Jarmillo has the best customer services and is so friendly and helpful. The place is inviting and my son loved his therapy session with Amy. I am so grateful for their support.

Avoid this place. Check out ABA therapy and wonderful made therapy In Ennis. The customer service is extremely poor. They do not answer phone calls, and appointments are canceled without notifying parents. There is no reliable front desk presence. Calls either go straight to voicemail or show as busy. I was advised by other parents and my child school therapist as well to avoid this place due to multiple complaints from other parents and experience; but I decided to give it a try since it was close to home. Unfortunately, everything they said was true. Communication is very poor. There is no acknowledgment of mistakes or lack of communication. Everyone I spoke to at Emerald City were very helpful and compassionate about helping me find the right treatment for my son. Kathy helped answer all my questions about the process and helped me work through what would work best not just for Emerald city, but what worked best for my family. It obvious to me that the staff values prioritizing patients.
