Elk River Senior Living

After the newness has worn off, our family member has complained about poor internet connection, bad food service inadequacies/mishaps/taste, underwhelming activities, and mismanaged staff. We've also personally witnessed rude front desk interactions with (Sherry/Sharon) - she never greets visitors, is on her phone laughing a lot of the time, and exhibits unprofessional demeanor. Overall, this place needs an overhaul by the director or we will be considering new places for our loved one.

I had the pleasure of touring Elk River Senior Living and was thoroughly impressed. The community is beautifully maintained, warm, and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for residents!

I moved my parents into an independent living apartment in November 2024. The staff, specifically Liz & Angie, have been outstanding throughout this entire lifestyle change for my parents. They have shown incredible compassion and empathy to my parents as they make this major life adjustment. I love how clean the facility is and the care that they demonstrate on a daily basis. I would recommend this campus to anyone looking for a place for mom or dad.

Thank you to all of the employees at Elk River Senior Living! My spouse has improved tremendously since I transferred her to their Memory Care unit. The professionalism, prompt attention and kindness has improved her mood and attitude. She is no longer told to sit at a different table, told to go to her room or told not to talk anymore. I think changing her medication was very professional thought out and executed maneuver. She participates in all of the activities and can't wait to tell me about them, she even smiles now! Putting my mom into memory care was a very difficult decision to make. The staff at Elk River Senior Living made the transition easier. They were comforting, kind and understanding.
